Your whole argument is essentially premised on the Chinese getting screwed by a Department in SA. The reality for this will mean SA taking a big one from the Chinese with other investments. Huge move and everything has a probability of success, but it would seem very low to me. The Chinese will simply not lie down.

You then have to ask - if the Chinese have no probability of success - according to you - tthn why are they bothering?

Your previous argument was this would be taken private and then NKP left with nothing and deals done on the side. You have now changed tact to say, no deals will be done, as the Chinese will lose everything.

So, if the Chinese lose everything - then you are correct. NKP holders will be screwed.

If the Chinese dont intend to lose everythign - then Minorities will have a say about what and how they will do their future deals.
