Awarded a $1.45 million contract to upgrade BHP Billitons Robotic Sample Preparation System at their Iron ore operations in Port Hedland. The company will supply new equipment and control systems to allow the processing of a larger numbers of samples being generated from BHP Billitons Pilbara expansion programs.
--The Company provides a comprehensive package of sample preparation solutions that cater to all requirements, from complete laboratory installations to mobile units and to special applications, including: Crushers, Pulverising mills, Hammer and Disc mills, Cross beater mills, Riffle Splitters and sample dividers, Drying Ovens, Dust Collectors, Ducting, and Work stations. Essa Australia and FL Smidth Automation of Denmark have a partnership agreement to introduce robotic laboratory systems to the minerals industry
