I have to disagree with you Robo, If the cap raising was even priced at 7 cents they would probally get oversubsribed if it was made attractive to existing holders. Given the last raising was @ 5 cents since then we have blown $5 million. Its fair to assume in 9 months TTR will be rattling the can again probally @ 5 cents again. This can only be described as pathetic.
In my opinion if TTR had priced this raising @ between 6 or even 7 cents with a free attaching 12 month option with a take up price at say 9 or 10 cents, without doubt this would demonstrate confidence to share holders and the wider market in the TTR project. Of coarse Management wouldn't like this sort of suggestion as it forces them to perform. (i;e creating a target of 10 cents for next raising)
A; it would initially raise far more funds with far less dilution for existing holders.
B; makes the target for future raising at a higher amount than the probable 5 cents again thus less dilution again.
C; Sets a performance measure that shareholders can reasonable gauge management's confidence and ability to improve a project and look after existing shareholders interest.
My conclusion is either the project is being overstated by management and they lack confidence in it. Or like many small would be miners, their real interest is just keep some dollars coming in to keep them in a job. (Put simply, SCREW SHAREHOLDERS)
The industry wide habit of continuously discounting capital raisings for want of better words, is Shareholder Abuse. Small wonder we have record gold prices and pathetic interest in mining or exploration companies.
