A recent published opinion poll included the results of a question as to whether people were for or against Rudds super tax on mining companies.

I cannot recall the exact figures,but there was a clear majority against. Something like 50% against and 35% for.The rest, I guess, didnt know or couldnt care. I must confess the result surprised me.
