I agree that hindsight is 20/20, but it's been clear ASM has been bleeding cash for quite a while now. FWIW I think DW was phoning it in for months before he left, and the lack of transparency regarding his departure was bs. Like you say, it didn't take him long to resurface at another RE company, which pretty much rules out his having personal reasons for leaving.
