seems very good to me. The incoming ministers have said time and time again that they wont be interrupting lithium miners and will be respecting the rulings made by the courts. Also the incoming ministers have said that they want to make a National Mining Company. Due to the fact that buying out companies is very expensive, I expect this new National Mining company to be created by joint ventures with Chilean lithium mining companies. With the poor environmental history of the major lithium mining companies i sort of think they are likely to start with a joint venture with a company that ifs still developing and constructing a project... Also our MOU with codelco might make us stand out as a potential partner and the fact that we are actively working on finalizing our project financing. Just some my speculation.
Who knows what they will be talking about but I will be very interested in what the incoming undersecretary of mining will be saying about a potential National Mining Company. I dont think there will be any bad news in this department as it relates to our business, only potential for good news.
