Understand the age issue - not sure if he is on enough people's radar, but if he was I am sure he would rate well.

Media effectively rule this country, so they can paint a picture how they want to portray someone and a majority of people for whatever reason tend to take this view. Not sure how they would portray Scott Morrison, however from the way he has handled in the past, I don't think the media would know how to handle him and I think he would have the upper hand early - would be interesting to see how many ALP supporters would back Morrison over Shorten - there would have to be a few who simply couldn't vote for him, in the same manner that a lot of long term LNP voters have turned away from Abbott
