Interesting read t4p. How did the check for the tenement reapplication get cashed? if there was no supporting paperwork? In my days as an attorney (a thousand years ago) dealing with various filings with government offices in Sydney, a wayward disconnected check would come back to me with a requisition for the rest of the paperwork, and usually within a few days.

Did the lease renewal papers really sit in the Mining Registrars mail drop box for (how many days??/weeks??) before they were accidentally?? located??. It all sounds a little incredulous reading about this from the other side of the pond.
