But you don't realise how staged the parliamentary broadcasts are. Like barristers, politicians learn tricks. Dropping a pencil at a strategic moment the other side has made a great point, distracts. The number of times Abetz took his glasses off and on, to no apparent end, he wasn't just playing with his glasses in a preoccupied way, which would have meant they were constantly off. No, he took them off and on as it was a deliberate ploy, the movements were deliberate, not fiddling with his glasses. Nothing clearer.
Turnbull looked extremely uncomfortable, and shifted in his seat and his eyes moved sky high. It wasn't small movements, they were big ones. He was over the whole thing. His stance on the issue is consistent with this. Abbott was being slaughtered, and needlessly so. Abbott was highly unpopular partly for his stance on this issue. You don't know how to read body language do you?
Also it's no coincidence that the politicians in the background colour co-ordinate. You need to learn how the world works, it's far more manipulated than you realise.

You are being ridiculous.
You seem to have shifted from Turnbull to Abetz.
I'm guessing that you are the first person In Australia to read something into Turnbull's body language during Gillard's 15 minute speech.
Mind you, I vaguely recall a headline that went something like
"Abetz distracts attention from Abbott during Gillard speech.
Gillard thrown off course by Abetz's cunning ploy"
