I'm well aware of suicide rates. it's been a key function of my work for many years. a couple of facts that might be of interest is that, since the latte '90s, hanging has become the single largest means of suicide with the increase in hanging correlating with two other factors; increased imprisonment of men and increased proportion of Aboriginal people in prisons.
https://www.aihw.gov.au/suicide-self-harm-monitoring/data/deaths-by-suicide-in-australia/suicide-deaths-over-timeHanson though has taken a theme and isn't suggesting nay research or funding to examine the causes of suicide, only suggesting "How about we start with a Minister for Men". how dim is the light in her thought bubble.
her twit is clearly focused on regaining some of her lost support from her mostly male following. its inane and an insult to the concern for suicide.
I've had to cut down people who have hanged themselves in both mental health and in the prisons. I've had to resuscitate people who taken their lives, I've counselled them and helped prevent people feeling suicidal from acting on their impulses, and, of course, I too have had similar experiences. I don't take suicide with "indifference."
