I don’t really see the harm in it and why state you are an investor? You could be just someone who saw the news segment and I’m sure they’re to busy to investigate the motives of every emailer. The point is to make it clear that the public know about it and would like it looked into and funded... anyway that’s my view and I just sent him the following.

I am emailing to draw your attention to the amazing work Brisbane company Anteotech has been undertaking in the development of a rapid diagnosis test for covid 19. As I understand it this company has developed a working covid antigen test that works in 15 mins and also has the ability to differentiate between covid and regular type a or b flu in the one test. In a segment on last nights Chanel 10 news a spokesman for the company commented that the time to market for this test would be 6-9 months, but with government funding that time could be significantly reduced. I certainly hope that this test is looked into fully by your department and the company given the funds required to speed the trial and approval processes for it should it prove to be as good as this company claims.
