Seems like the loan documentation for the debt funding from CRDB bank has been formally signed off. Presumably there will be an ASX announcement Monday.
The formal sign off process has been underway for a while so expected but welcome news. From memory CRDB bank is one of three organisations providing the debt funding.
The US$290million figure quoted is a bit hard to reconcile but maybe includes the US$231million capex requirement for stage 1 plus funds spent by BKT on the project to date?
FARU Graphite Company is the Joint Venture company set up by the Tanzanian Govt and BKT for the Mahenge project. The Tanzanian Govt has 16% free carried share of the project thru FARU.
