Anvil share price does tend to move with changes in copper price - to some extent.
One might expect share price to hold around 50 cents.
Might even fall below 50 cents for a brief period?

A Geca-mine (or two) aquisition is the next impending milestone that should see Anvil move from a very small company to a mid sized company.
Share price to react also.
A strong surge followed by rests and more surges.
Look at Anvil long term share price starting from single figure (cents) to low "tens" to mid twenties to mid forties and now to over 50 cents.
Jumps, plateaus, fallbacks, etc. but the overall direction is strong.
Expect this to continue - for the patient!

The Gega-mine agreement might be taking longer than expected.
Preparing for the take-over, deciding on means of quickly raising additional finances and preparing for same may be taking time too.
Especially if the company intends to do so in the best interests of shareholders and ensure the process moves smoothly.
Also Anvil needs to do research and costings so that by the time the Geca-mine takeover is in place Anvil has a full account of the newly aquired resources, mining procedures to be used, costings, anticipated timeline and anticipated profits.

Not an insignificant challenge for a company that gets things right and intends to keep on doing so.

So until Geca-mine/s agreement is reached and promptly announced tis time to sleep -(and dream?)

Upgrade of proven Dikulushi resources, continuing proof that Stage 2 profits are meeting - perhaps exceding - expectations and the discovery of more mineable deposits would be appreciated.
But at the moment the potential Geca-mine deal is the big one!
