The price of lithium has fallen dramatically since they bought at 82, but lots of drilling done and successful.
When/if a decision is ever made to sell, it will go to the highest bidder without much reference to the original cost price … as they will presumably need the money to retire debt and refocus the business development strategy.
we have no real idea what a group like SQM, PLS, WES or FMG may be willing to pay at a private auction
