    Point of Care testing (ie bedside testing procedures) is a rapidly growing industry....

    I believe any analyte that currently uses antibody - antigen testing procedures will be applicable to this new 'mirror' technology......
    HIV, Hep A, B & C, Thyroid Function (TSH, T4 & T3), Tumour markers, BhCG (for detection of ectopic pregnancy), and yes....insulin. The list is huge!!! Perhaps they will develop multi-antibody mirrors and take measurements at various wavelengths (specific for each analyte)....?
