Just so, it's just trading games and algorithmic positioning most days... if an average day is 6.5million shares traded and issued shares are 1.2billion, then only around 0.5% of shares are available to the market on the day. 99.5% of the issued stock is never really involved in day to day trading and hence, unless one buys on margin or desperately needs to sell, it makes little sense to worry about day to day movements - other things being equal.
