Being a simpleton, it would be of no surprise to anyone to know that I never knew what a misogynist was until this month.
Still, it would be much better if we could become more adult about our differences and embrace what sets us apart, and that's coming from someone who should have a grudge against women but doesn't.
I think we've been taken for a ride and have taken the bait, and believe that the more women make us change to suit their needs the more they despise us. What is it with us westerners that keep trying to destroy the very families that are pivitol in raising children with the best chance for a harmonious and civilised society? But alas, we have delinquency running riot in our streets instead, with a total disregard to authority and everyday citizens - that's what happens when you remove tough authority from the family home and replace it with negotiations and bribes (happy meals, video games).
I'm really disappointed in our leaders from both camps, and wish that at least one leader would refrain from driving a nail into the other when one is down. My belief is that the truth will set the scene and the landscape for the correct opinions to occur - badgering someone over, and over, about the same topic can and does backfire.
These arguments are destructive and not helping anyone - it's time to embrace our differences. Stay at home dads - it's only a matter of time you will be dumped for a real man; grow a pair, get out there and earn your keep and stop being a pushover. To all you men haters, do us a favour and get out there in the mining fields where it's 45 degrees plus and show us equality. Otherwise, let's get on with what we do best rather than trying to go against the grain.
