Now, as it has been since almost every day since 14 September 2015 when the miserable ghost assumed leadership of the Liberal Party, he has more support from those on the left who would never vote Liberal but "tolerated" him because he was more like them ie left wing and woke.

On the other hand, the only people that mattered were erstwhile Coalition voters. Many let their local representative know in no uncertain terms that the Coalition was sunk if they stuck with the dud. My wife and I actually had a meeting with our federal member in 2017 and told him that. He said we were far from the first! Our member supported the dumping of the dud and a transition to ScoMo. The electorate did so too ...... overwhelmingly.

Memo to our left leaning friends:- what you thought of the miserable ghost as a leader really means diddly squat. You are free to have him as your own.
