Rather than a legal process, I'd prefer to see the State Government step in with anti-protest laws as they are doing in Victoria and Tasmania, as alluded to before. Afterall MEL is sitting on 42% of the State's known CSG reserves before they quantify the reserves of Conventional gas. At what point will it be classified as "State significant"?
The Bentley residents can protest all they like, but at a safe distance from any work site and so long as it doesn't impede any workers from carrying out their day-to-day work or jeopardise anybody's right to earn a living.
