If someone was willing to still up over USD400m, as a first step, with much more needed later, we almost certainly would have heard about who the potential buyer is in the press. I spent soma years as a stock event analyst, if there's a white knight, the press always has some leads on it.
But nothing...
The conclusion is that there is no mystery buyer.
The further conclusion, is that the thin samds may be less commercial than we think, as FAR should have prompted this. Plus CNE was not interested, and not was Conoco.
Overall, it is still worth an investment. But if you are not basing your investment decision on it being a there bagger by 2021 on funding its stake to completion, I reckon you are in for disappointment.
There's a lot of interesting energy investments with similar or better risk profiles. FAR is only unique in oz.
