Funny enough when I was listening to an Equity story nightly video on the 8th Jan which was the day Equity Story closed their GSW position they quoted that they closed the position due to "a little bit of talk on the street that a few big hedge funds are looking to short this company".
Obviously a witch hunt had started back then with select few being informed?
