Its small potatoes and The Australian has bigger fish to fry - literally. LOL! What a joke. Mind you AFR and the big dailies are no better.

As its been said before, once an article has been published the damage is done and retracting misinformation ("errors") does not help those who lost because of flaky journalism... I mean, flaky research.

This is another example of where ppl should do their own research to confirm what they have read.

As to what can be done to ensure published articles are factual and unbiased - well I suggest we go back to the Uni's and schools where journalism is taught and teach ethics(!) and/or introduce "tough" laws to ensure editors and newspaper owners are more accountable for what they publish - but hell, will only happen when pigs fly...
