Generally those investors get advice from who? So is it mum or dad or those who advise mum and dad to buy a particular stock? I don't have any advisors and relied on information from the company a few ago about their growth and sales strategy, however they didn't provide guidance to say how bad this was going for me to make an informed decision and not invest.
