Dear Greta is in a win win situation. If the world is paddling along nicely in 10 years time she will claim to have saved us from extinction. If we are in dire straits she will be able to say that she warned us and we took no notice.
Much like the weather forecasts, they say a "chance" of rain so if we get some we are happy that it was forecast but if it doesn't then we have to accept that there really was only a chance of rain.
