I have never been attracted to the SER/Ionic projects over the past decade and have argued with tin, raider, alanpro and ausheds at length.
So I have no vested interest and bought SER for the gold prospect at Saxy.
BUT those who supported the company for the past decade with projects like Supersand/ Supercap/ membranes etc etc - none of which were commercialised must be disappointed in the new battery development that could be worth multiple billions over the next 20 years.
Ser/Ionic is not in the picture and do not hold the patent.
Nothing illegal or underhand here, congrats to Monash uni and the research team. They are brilliant.
But i do feel that Ionic management should have worked harder to get a toehold in the research that imo overlaps their own at Monash.
If they had, there would finally be an Ionic IPO and long-suffering shareholders would finally be compensated for their faith and support.
But like i said I am in for the gold and that is something that all SER shareholders can look forward to.
    An Ann is close.
