Would guess it is short term traders taking profits. Performance of the stock was very good on ex-divi day, those that bought a few weeks ago have had a good ride and now get to pocket and extra 11c per share. Traded $2.60-$2.70 for quite a while - if you were a buyer then, satisfied the 45 day rule for divi and take a ~15% capital gain as well why not
