How much of this will be recovered from the person who stole it has not been mentioned.
Write-down by BEN will be ZERO.
It will be insured.
All business of any size have insurance policies for theft, including internal theft.
ALL banks have internal theft at some time or other.
Most of it goes unreported in the media, but it does occur.
For anyone to imply this is some sort of incident unique to BEN or is a result of lax standards and that BEN would not be insured for this is clearly ridiculous.
