The voting system for Australia is a slow, backward, inefficient system open to manipulation and multiple voting.
How difficult would it be, with modern technology, to have a voting system, over the phone, by computer, or at certain venues that all is needed is a one off password, (like my VeriSign gadget that allows access to my bank account on line), to participate. ?
The Govt. could also arrange a 1800 number, and could simplify the system so that time and complication was not an issue.
