Commsec are still investigating.
As we already know a 3rd party has failed to supply said shares.
commsec has 166 affected accounts. They wouldn’t say who it is that has failed to deliver at this stage.
They are working towards a resolution for their account holders.
I personally will insist on my shares being supplied by the short seller.
Westpac have responded to their customers that the seller is going to have to purchase on market upon the new listing opening.
Possibly an opportunity to punish the short seller if ADR price gets driven up in the interim?
