Yes I received an SMS and have since spoken to Commsec.
I was quite blunt and asked have I lost these shares? I was advised that I have not lost my shares and that they are working towards transferring these shares to the "US platform" .
I was told that I do not need to do anything as their Corporate department is working on this and to just wait for them to contact me again.
The concerning issue is that I asked that once all my shares are transferred to Computershare US can I nominate Commsec International as my broker...the Commsec representative advised me that they do not provide this service (when the shares are transferred) they only accept broker to broker- not what I was aware of.
The Commsec rep advised I will need to find a broker that provides this service!
