Had a chat with CMC today nearly 2 months from original complaint about naked shorts/missing shares.
The matter is still under investigation by their global dept, they've been in touch with US Computershare, yes my missing shares are, I repeat, ARE, on record at CMC in their system under IHL ticker for both my partner and myself to the right amounts of shares owing to us both. I've been issued with a Case Reference Number and been told to expect an email within a weeks time regarding this matter and instructions on the next steps to take.
If I haven't heard back in that time I'm to contact them to see how far the matter has gone in it's investigations.
May be a little light at the end of the tunnel!!
Hope this helps the other CMC investors and peeps at other platforms that things are happening in the background.
Maybe others using CMC should ring as well and get their own case numbers and also light a bit of a bigger fire under their arses to get this resolved.
