Well, looks like a few million shares required to be purchased on first day of nasdaq open. Costly mistake from someone. What a mess.
If they were naked shorts, they havent showed up on reports - so super double illegal.
5m shorts still open, I wonder if someone didn't pay attention and didnt close off the shorts in time... like I suggested earlier. It does seem like a lot more shares involved than 5m if just in this thread it seems like a few million.
I wonder if an institution sold their shares twice by accident? Hard to fathom someone being stupid enough to naked short like this.
