Make of this what you will, its my prediction for the next 9 months.

Top one is the raw data, its pretty choppy so I decided to smooth it = second chart.

Third chart is one for what you would have been looking at if we were standing at Dec 2007 just for interest sake.

So my observation is its not bad for uptrends but only gives a 6 month lead on downtrend commencement.

Anyway its looking like we have about 3 months before we will see a pretty decent correction which would probably correlate pretty well with a fairly stinging May sell up this year.

I have back tested this to 1976 and its been very good BUT gave nothing for 1987, did not move a jot.
