I think I recall Taffy saying that Mitsubishi reps were at an earlier Roadshow.
Mitsubishi Electric has delivered the world's largest energy storage system to Kyushu Electric Power.
"The system, which has 50MW output and 300MWh rated capacity, was deployed at the Buzen Substation in Buzen, Fukuoka Prefecture in Japan.
It is part of a project that seeks to balance the supply and demand ratio through high capacity energy storage systems.
The facility provides energy-storage capabilities, similar to pumped hydro facilities, and seeks to improve the supply-demand balance when renewable energy sources are put to use."
