Interesting article in today's AFR by Anthony Macdonald (Closing Bell) about the Link deal.
My take aways for Wrkr shareholders;
1st
It is suggested that Australian Super is close to making a new 5 year deal with Link. If this is the case, Aussie Super will definitely become a client of Wrkr.
2nd
Mitsubishi UFJ Trust & Banking completed all their due diligence before making an offer to take over Link. This suggests to me that the Aussie Super extension would have needed to be signed off before they would have pulled the trigger.
3rd
Of all the previous suitors, Mitsubishi UFJ is looking to expand it's footprint with the acquisition of Link being a strategic long term play which will be to the benefit of Wrkr as suggested by Norvest.
Great outcomes for Wrkr if this all plays out as the market pundits are suggesting.
