Hi Engr, From what I know and from what is published on Glenn's LinkedIn site, he has a Bachelor of Science (Hons). He also developed the jetpack from a rough sketch with no more than pencil, paper and calculator to a stage where it could fly independantly, as evident in this video. What he was apparently lacking was the ability to get the jetpack onto the market, even though he announced 2008 as the first release date. I do not know the reasons for the latter, but he obviously wasn't happy with the direction the company was taking after the IPO and he resigned quite suddenly. He could be a valuable addition to the board for at least 2 reasons. He invented the basic concept as we see it today and he is still holding a huge parcel of escrowed MJP shares himself. What I don't agree with is creating yet another job for Mr. Coker and keeping him on the payroll, after he managed to downgrade the initial technical performance specs and not keeping other milestones as well.
