MJP & 'Missed' Marketing Opportunities, page-15

An MJP jetpack was flown manned earlier this year in Shenzhen, at heights seemingly exceeding 2, or even 8 metres. Assuming that this aircraft was fitted with an older parachute version, why not use this same assembly in Wanaka? They now have several registered and fully functional jetpack prototypes in their workshop, or did the Shenzhen version fly without a chute?
