My biggest fear is that the company has sort of 'stalled' since Martin left. And at this point they know that putting the thing to manufacturing is basically impossible so they've decided to just sit comfy with their salaries while looking for another job.
That explains the lack of trade show demos and such. They know that it's never going anywhere. The sooner they burn through the funding the sooner we risk de-listing. Might as well just cut back on production and make the salaried positions last long as possible.
I really hope it isn't the above, but I can sort of see it happening.
