Surely we would not expect any confirmed sales until a completely sales ready product is sitting on the warehouse floor with full approvals and compliance with all regulations, ready for careful and leisurely demos and detailed evaluations by prospective buyers?

Until that process is complete I think most of what is being said on HC, especially by some, is pure speculation mixed with a lot of unnecessary "the sky is falling" angst.

What's the rush? This is not a new TV or a phone app. Everything that is being done seems entirely appropriate for something as novel, and thus as under the spotlight, as a flying machine. As management you would want to get everything right and in order before looking for too much publicity. Its very easy to get critical publicity that would do way more harm, than any likely good from simply pushing out news relaeases. A single crash or even a slight mishap could scare off hundreds of prospective buyers for 1-2-3 years until everything is kosher again. Does Mr 42 want to risk that by demanding more visible action? Do we really want every bit of in-house dirty washing being aired in the public gaze?
