SRmax is the maximum allowable stripping ratio for a mine to determine whether it is economical or not.
The assumptions in the SRmax for MKR are loose metrics for the entire resource. It was a basic exercise to get a feel for what is known.
So MKR are doing a drilling campaign to further define/prove a portion of the existing Wonawinta resource; to convert that portion into an ore reserve.
The strip ratio and grade of the target ore reserve to be mined will likely be entirely different to what is known at the moment. The drill results that are to be released for the Wonawinta drilling campaign could be good or could be bad. That is the risk we take as investors and that will determine whether there will be a mineable ore reserve or not.
