Some people are forgetting,
the time to obtain a mining licence,
yes, this and that company obtained their licence in x number of months and or weeks.
extract are still waiting and waiting.
but have you ever thought?
why
why is extract taking so long for the licence ?
why
because this is the biggest licence ever given by the Nam government.
and they the government would have to check through EVERYTHING assoc, with this application.
and just maybe the very size and planned operating life of extract's planned mine would be a totally new World to them, as it would be to most governments, throughout the World.
What the govern of Nam would be looking at,
biggest
in terms of mine life, 30 up to over 50years or MORE
just to think about how a mine of this size would effect people and their lives in 30 years time surely would be something very special.
biggest
in the hole size that will be produced
biggest
in the waste dump
and I would suggest
the
biggest
in water consumed
the
biggest
in terms of the electricty consumed
and more
And then
the
biggest
in the number of workers in construction
which must include the
biggest
in sewage required for construction teams and then the operating staff.
Workshops and their waste
AND all requireing new roads.
AND how all the above will fit nicely into without damageing the National Park.
OR how this new giant mine will fit into Tourism, as this mine will become an attraction in its own right, due to the size of the 'hole'.
So boys and girls, lets not hurry, sit sit back and wait, like good share holders and wait for this government to complete their given task.
Because the government will also be in a hurry, in a hurry to employ their people and in a hurry to collect the stream of taxes.
Some people are forgetting,
the size of the mine hole.
Now go out side where you live and think of a location about 30ks away, then think, opps, that one thumping big hole, that could be the size of Extract's mine hole or BIGGER in the future.
Then take another think about the poor government of Nam, trying their best to get the application right for the ML for the people of Nam, for today and into the future about 30 to 50 years.
