The exact location is Cínovec - it is not really mining in this case. They plan to extract lithium out of old tailing which was created by old mine in Cínovec - at that time they extracted only tin so the rest of spoil is still quiet rich on lithium. I am not in the mood to translate the whole article from Czech to English but feel free to ask more questions and they shall be answered. Btw bellow the article there are classic Czech troll comments like electric cars are useless, have bigger impact on environment than oil cars. The most funny is probably "There you go you ecofascists, because of electric cars we will have here moon surface".
