I for one didn’t know of the fee gazetting issue being the hold up. But agree, the President and Minister for Mining have been very bullish on Makuutu publicly, politically aligning themselves with it, mining more broadly, and the strategic benefit of non-China REEs to Uganda. So cannot see this as anything other than an approval.

I also suspect investors are a little nervous about the potential (or probability) of 15% equity going to the Gov as part of the new raft of mining laws. However, if that sentiment draws IXR much lower it will create an obvious buying opportunity.

In the meantime the demo plant is progressing, and if I recall right will produce product for sale as well and marketing.

There is a lot going on with IXR - which could be putting some people off - but if you see the whole picture, it is an exciting time to be in IXR. We just need this spot prices to keep going up.
