mls - atonement for its sins

Without trying to state the obvious too much, it looks like MLS is being made an example of for the benefit of all prospective explorers.

Six months after the Supreme Court ruling in favour of MLS, the message from the Mines Minister is clear "...this is what happens when you take on our Namibian mates. I am powerful enough to snub my nose at the courts, and will hand back the EPL when it suits me...and in the meantime cause as much damage to the company as possible".

Indeed there is a price to pay for embarrassing close friends of the Minister.
