Welcoming the news, Metals Chairman, Mr Sol Majteles, said: ?We are delighted that the
Registrar has now formally rejected the attempt to challenge the Supreme Court?s final
judgment. Our Senior Counsel has also confirmed that this now ends the attempt to frustrate
implementation of the judgment.?

A letter was delivered to the Ministry of Mines and Energy on 10 January 2011 attaching a
copy of the Registrar?s letter and requesting that the renewal of the two EPLs be processed
without further delay.
