I appreciate your understanding of market and also how you feel the macro general market is associated with MLS.
As you may have seen, I do a daily report. One of the things I also report is how stocks (li/stock specific) also relate to general markets. I disagree with your opinion, but still respect it as there is nothing black and white. Lots of things are opinions and we can stretch in one direction.
Getting specific to MLS, to be honest I have been disappointed. I have exited nearly all my positions on a small loss. I still hold, but very little, just 1 lot, which is just for trading.
As of last week, my positions in market is low and the lowest in last year in Li stocks. I started exiting many positions, including MLS sometime back, as I have been mentioning. Many are related to general markets and how Li sector is going. To hedge my position, I moved Li holdings to cash or as I mentioned to stocks that are looking good for short term (mainly Oil and gas) as I mentioned in last weekly report.
I know punters here are bored. General markets are not doing well. Li sector is in decline in the short term. MLS is near its bottom as well. So what do punters do? They have got bored blaming general market/Li sector. They got bored blaming the BOD whose performance has been terrible to say the least. So holders don't have much to bash. So what do they do? As we can see posting on MLS because of various reason has decreased considerable. There are still who post, like me, diligently, every day. I know its not for everyone - trading, short-term, etc. So I created a separate thread, so that people who are not interested can just ignore the thread, once they know what I post. But that's not enough for some. They want to stop that as well. Well, you are about to get it.
For sometime I have been thinking of stopping my posting on MLS because of my reduced position and expectations from BOD. I know we hold good position in Graphite, but I have lost faith in BOD. I know Canadian Graphite has great potential, but at this stage I am still wary of BOD. Its like giving a Ferrari to a bad driver. They will crash it at some stage.
BOD manage GED. SBR and MLS. All are at nearly their yearly lows. Same pattern in all stocks. There is nothing in all three how they have been managed to give any confidence. Its not like everything is lost, Lac Rainy Graphite can be a company maker, and that's the best hope. I had high hope with Alex Biggs. He hasn't done anything. He is now CEO of L1M, so all his focus must be there, so I have lost all my expectations from him as well.
My weekend report will be last one on MLS in the short term. If things change, I will come back immediately. and start posting. I have a long association and still hold hope. But now I want to see something concreate. In earlier this year, we had a market that one could just put an announcement and get it running. It will not happen any more, at least in the short-term. The market will only run on facts. Best bet is still Lac Rainy. We are already 4 months late - there is no certainity, firstly around an update, secondly if it will be a good one. Markets have changed. No more fluff - something which has been the backbone of BOD. So the task is cut out. I will be here, wanting to jump in any time. But till then, I wish all the best to MLS holders - hope one day the sun will be shine, again.
