It would be far better if they achieve some sort of out of court settlement. The aim of the judicial system is not justice. Far from it. It is to keep court cases going (and the appeals system included) for as long as possible, so as to make as much money as possible for themselves. The outcome is irrelevant. It is allowed and common for both teams of barristers to hold private meetings behind closed doors - their poor clients never quite not knowing what has actually been discussed. In effect they organize their own 'out of court settlement' - for their own benefit.
Better than MLS negotiates their own deal with the vendor if that is what is taking place - without any legal input - except to make sure the contracts are written properly.
