Spot on Tim.
What is revealed in the article is unbelievably good news for MLS ( and supporters).
My take is that Mr A and his Attorney have overstepped the mark and as a result any public sympathy that he was trying to garner will evaporate .Attempting (allegedly) to pervert the course of justice , associated with a ruling of the highest court in the land is not a trite matter.
We now have a situation where the government has its national and international reputation at stake...the government cannot be seen to undermine the integrity and impartiality of its court system and Judges ..particularly its Supreme Court Judges ...that would create a constitutional crisis with international implications.
What the article is conveying in effect is that the Mining Ministry has now realised that it cannot stand in the way of the Court's judgment ..it would put a dagger through the heart of Namibia's entire system of law and governance ...all for the sake of 1 little old worthless tenement on the coast ..unlikely in the extreme.
I imagine that MME will process the licences asap ..otherwise it will leave itself open to an action from MLS in the Supreme Court for not implementing the Court's ruling.
Just my opinion.
