Thatsgold, yes, I am confident in the management of this company. So confident, in fact, that I'm already triaging what to sell to get my hands on more shares. As I said in my previous post, rights issue or private placement makes little difference in the long run, and shares will be for sale at the issue price in the near future - either through rights or on the open market.
