In the past the govt has subsidised the householder to install the solar system and the made the suppliers pay you for excess fed into the grid at high rates. And you all wonder why electricity prices have been rising.
Clearly not sustainable.
The carbon tax will will bring a more sustainable market driven approach and WILL create more "green" electricity.
